Replacement of old air pumps with new air pumps

Note: There is a difference between the installation of the old air pump and the new air pump, you need to replace the bottom bracket of the air pump at the same time and re-punching and tapping, please operate according to your personal situation.

Preliminary

Operation Guide

1. Disassemble the chassis

Remove the rear door of the unit using the M2 hex wrench


2.Removal of lasers (XT)

  Note: This step is only required for the XT unit and requires the glass tube to be disassembled

.Measure, using a steel ruler, the distance from the glass tube to the reflector 1 and record it

  

.Unscrew the positive and negative wires by turning counterclockwise.

.Use a utility knife to cut the inlet & outlet ties, and then pull out the laser inlet & outlet water tubes


.Remove the laser by unscrewing the two screws that hold the laser in place. 

   

3.Removal of air pumps

  1.       Evacuate the trachea.
    

  1. Unplug the power cord terminals

  

  1.  Remove the screws holding the air pump bracket using an M3 allen wrench

                       

           
  1. Remove the air pump bracket and air pump after disassembly

  1. Mark on the bottom of the casing, use electric drill, set 5mm drill bit, start punching holes, after punching the holes and then change to M5mm taps, tapping, after finishing, use 10mm drill bit for the second punching, the depth is about 3-5mm.

   

Notes
   Note: The bottom needs to open countersunk holes, so you need to use a 5mm drill bit to make holes first, then use a 10mm drill bit to continue to make holes, the depth of the first hole in accordance with the normal way to open holes, the second time to use a 10mm drill bit need to pay attention to the depth of the depth of roughly 3-5mm, to ensure that the screws can be locked, and does not protrude.

          

        
  

5.Installation of new air pump

  1. Place the air pump module into the unit.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
  2.  Insert the M5*10 screws into the holes in the bottom of the chassis and use an M5 Allen wrench to lock the screws.     

  1.  Connecting power cords and air tubes

    Notes
    Note: The air hose should distinguish between the air inlet and outlet, and the air outlet of the air pump is the one connected to the quick plug of the device 

         

        

6. Rehabilitation of equipment housings

 

  1. Use an M2 hex wrench to put the rear cover of the unit back on and lock the screws tightly .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

  2.  If you disassemble the glass tube, be sure to reinstall the glass tube back into the

            ①. Place the laser on the laser holder and adjust the distance from the laser to the reflector 1 (distance recorded during disassembly)

    . Tighten the tape while fixing the laser using the screws.

    . Connect the inlet & outlet hose to the laser and secure it with a zip tie.

    . Reconnect the positive and negative output wires.

            ⑤.
