No Laser Beam

No Laser Beam

Issue phenomenon

The machine works normally but there is no laser output.

Causes & Solutions

1.Wrong processing parameters

If the speed is too fast and the power is too low, there will be no traces during  the engraving process.
Please set the correct processing parameters.

2.The reflector or focusing mirror is completely damaged.

Failure to maintain the equipment on time may result in the reflector or focusing lens not being able to transmit or reflect light. Check whether the light path reflector and lens have good light transmittance.

3.Laser optical path deviation

If the laser light path is offset, the laser will hit the laser head or the inside of the device, causing the laser to fail to emit light. Please use double-sided tape to stick to the three-mirror frame, press the spot button on the panel, and check whether the five light source spots in the platform overlap.

4.The laser or laser power supply is damaged

If there is a problem with the laser or laser power supply, no light will be emitted.

XT:

  • Use an M2 hexagonal wrench to remove the nut on the right door of the device and remove the side door.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Unplug the signal line, press the red button on the laser power supply to fire, and observe whether the laser emits light.                                                         If it does, the   possible reason is the   signal channel problem between the motherboard and the power supply.                                                                          If the laser tube does not emit light, the power supply current is normal, and the laser tube should be replaced.                                                                              If the laser does not emit light, it may be that the power supply has no current or the current is too low, and the laser power supply should be      replaced.

  •

XRF:

  • Check if the power supply is faulty
  • Open the back cover and check if the 48V power green light is always on, as shown in the figure:
  • Always on: Please measure the output voltage, "V+" and "V-" output interfaces, whether there is DC 48V. If the voltage is abnormal, it indicates a power failure
  • Not on: Please measure the input voltage, L2 and N2 lines, whether there is AC 220V. If the voltage is normal, it indicates a power failure.
  • Abnormal voltage: It means there is a problem with the line and the line needs to be checked.
    •  If the temperature of T and RF tube is too high (D2 is always on), the RF tube will note MIT laser.

Use an M2 hexagonal wrench to remove the nut on the right door of the device and remove the back cover.

Try turning on the device without processing, wait 4-5 minutes, and try again

    • Signal line contact is poor

If the signal light is not off: please find the signal cable (gray network cable) and re-plug both ends, or replace it with a normal network cable and try again.

    • Check whether the RF tube is faulty

①.Use a network cable with normal communication to short-circuit the 1.3.7 wires at one end. After short-circuiting, there is no need to plug it back into the motherboard, as shown in the figure:

②. Plug the other end of the network cable into the network cable interface of the RF tube, then turn on the device and wait for 42 seconds of pre-ionization to see if light can be emitted, as shown in the figure:

Note: Before turning on the device, please place a wooden board on the platform, as the RF tube may continue to emit light.

    •  Light comes out after short circuit: It means the RF tube is not faulty, the problem is with the signal
    •  No light after short circuit: This indicates that the RF tube is faulty and needs to be replaced.

5.Laser signal failure

You can swap the CN5 and CN6 signal ports on the control board, and you need to change the software settings:

    •  Find the mainboard and swap the laser signal output ports CN5 and CN6 on the mainboard
    •
    •
    • In the software, set the laser signal output 2 to emit light:

After setting, click OK, return to the device and use the panel to test whether there is light. If there is still no light after the exchange, the control card needs to   be  replaced.
